RTD: Parade of Lights will interrupt downtown bus and light rail service tonight, Saturday

A small portion of the Regional Transportation District normal light rail and bus service will be interrupted in downtown near the Parade route due to the 9News Parade of Lights. The D, F and H Lines light rail service will not run between the Theatre District/ Convention Center/Performing Arts and 18th/California Stations during the following approximate times:
Friday, December 4, 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 5, 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
NOTE: The D Line will continue to operate from the 18th/California to the 30th/Downing Light Rail Station. The C and E Lines will not be affected.
For safety reasons, the FREE 16th Street MallRide will only be able to offer shuttle service from Denver Union Station to Market Street Station during the parade times. The MallRide will resume regular shuttle service after the parade.
Signs will be posted at all affected light rail stations and in all light rail vehicles to alert passengers of the upcoming delays, and RTD personnel will be on hand during the delay periods to provide information.
The following bus routes will experience detours in downtown near the Parade route on Friday, December 4, starting at 7 p.m. for approximately 2 ½ hours:
Routes 0, 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 15-Ltd, 16, 16 Ltd, 20, 28, 30, 31, 32, 38, 44, 48, 50 and 52.
The following bus routes will experience detours in downtown near the Parade route on Saturday, December 5, starting at 5 p.m. for approximately 2 ½ hours:
Routes 0, 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 15-Ltd, 16, 16-Ltd, 20, 28, 30, 31, 32, 38, 44, 48 and 52.
