The new Hoover Dam bypass bridge, North America’s longest single-arch concrete crossing at 1,960 feet, will open to traffic in November 2010, Engineering News-Record reports.
The bridge will take traffic on U.S. 93 off the road across the dam and reroute it on the bypass 1,500 feet downstream across Black Canyon.
